Adjust your chair so you can sit comfortably with your feet flat on the floor, and your thighs parallel to the floor. The armrests should be adjustable and allow you to rest your forearms without shrugging your shoulders or stooping down. Your forearms should also be parallel to the floor while keeping your wrists in a neutral position when typing. A keyboard wrist rest will help maintain proper position. If your desk height cannot be adjusted, set the chair so your arms are in position, and use a foot rest to bring your thighs parallel to the ground.
